Mosaic of Voices

Mosaic of Voices welcomes Arturo Mantecon and Penny Kline.
Penny Kline has been heard reading her poetry at the Avid Reader, Davis, Luna’s, Shine, Sacramento Poetry Center, Placerville, San Jose, Los Angeles, Italy, and in Paris, France where she was a featured poet this past June. Her poetry consciously reflects our human condition and the spirit of our times. She is busy putting the final touches on her full-length poetry book that includes her photographs and a CD of her poetry performed to original music. Penny is looking forward to launching her book during a European poetry tour in 2017.
Arturo Mantecón is a poet and translator born in Texas and raised in Michigan. He attended and graduated from Ella Fitzgerald Elementary in Detroit with Stevie Wonder. His poetry has appeared in La Ventana Abierta, Poetry Now and various anthologies. A collection of his short stories, Memories, Cuentos Verídicos, y Otras Outright Lies, was published by En Casa in 2014. He has translated the poetry and prose of the mad Spanish poeta maldito, Leopoldo María Panero. He is translating the work of Francisco Ferrer Lerín.
